Holidays at Samos

I went to the Samos Island during June month of last year. I went there with my family. It is really a very beautiful place. We had decided in advance that rather than staying at one place we will have our stay at 3-4 different places in order to explore the beauty of Whole Island. We decided four places for our stay. These were vathi, ormos, kokkari and pythagorian. We had a great fun at all these places during our stay. But I enjoyed our stay at kokkari the most. There were a number of restaurants in kokkari. The Italian food restaurants were really very good. The architecture of vathi impressed me the most. We also visited different museums of Samos. These are all very good especially the museum of fossils. It was exceptionally good. We also visited different churches and temples of Samos. All of these were very beautiful. We had a great fun at the beaches of Samos. These are very clean beaches with crystal clear water. Some of these beaches are quiet while some are really crowded. We enjoyed many water games here. We also had a great fun at the night also. We enjoyed a special wine that is exclusively prepared in this island. It was great. We also visited several ancient sites of Samos. It is truly a wonderful holiday resort.

Our one day was reserved for viewing the amazing monasteries and Byzantine churches in the country. For shopping, we went to the local market where we found a great variety of pottery, laces, jewellery and silverware.

Our holiday ended with a final trip to North Cyprus which is a very charming and quiet place with abundant ancient sites and medieval castles.
