I went to the Samos Island during June month of last year. I went there with my family. It is really a very beautiful place. We had decided in advance that rather than staying at one place we will have our stay at 3-4 different places in order to explore the beauty of Whole Island. We decided four places for our stay. These were vathi, ormos, kokkari and pythagorian. We had a great fun at all these places during our stay. But I enjoyed our stay at kokkari the most. There were a number of restaurants in kokkari. The Italian food restaurants were really very good. The architecture of vathi impressed me the most. We also visited different museums of Samos. These are all very good especially the museum of fossils. It was exceptionally good. We also visited different churches and temples of Samos. All of these were very beautiful. We had a great fun at the beaches of Samos. These are very clean beaches with crystal clear water. Some of these beaches are quiet while some are really crowded. We enjoyed many water games here. We also had a great fun at the night also. We enjoyed a special wine that is exclusively prepared in this island. It was great. We also visited several ancient sites of Samos. It is truly a wonderful holiday resort.

Our holiday ended with a final trip to North Cyprus which is a very charming and quiet place with abundant ancient sites and medieval castles.

You can choose any of the option that suits your budget. We had chosen a self catering apartment at the resort of Ayia Napa for our stay at Cyprus.

We were a group of three friends and we had gone to Cyprus holidays to spend our vacations last year. We generally choose a self catering apartment during our holidays because in this way we can explore the real taste of the locality that we are visiting. And it also proves cheap sometimes. We had a great fun at Ayia Napa. There we visited a number of historical sites. There are a number of bars, clubs and restaurants in Ayia Napa. These offer a variety of cuisines and drinks. We really enjoyed the local food of here. We enjoyed a lot at the beach sites. These were really very wonderful. We enjoyed a lot of water sports here. Holidays in Ayia Napa of Cyprus

Cyprus is a great holiday destination. There are many holiday resorts in Cyprus but Ayia Napa is the most popular holiday resort. It is also known as the party capital of Cyprus. It is extremely popular among young tourists though older tourists also like this place. It was used to be a small fishing village but is has now developed into a hotspot for spending holidays. This town is especially famous for its colorful night life. There are many bars and night clubs in the town making the nightlife extremely exciting and an unforgettable experience for those who visit this place. We visited many historical and cultural sites in Ayia Napa. For example there is a beautiful monastery in the town which belongs to Venetian times and in front of this monastery there is a sycamore tree which is believed to be about 600 years old.

The beaches of Ayia Napa are extremely colorful. There are a lot of activities that we enjoyed here. We had a lot of fun riding on a motor boat and in scuba diving. We also enjoyed our shopping here. The market is really good. There is every thing in the market from clothing to jewelry to sunglasses to cameras to handicrafts. There are many things that are cheaper than UK. There is lot of bargaining in these markets. There are a number of restaurants in Ayia Napa. These offer a variety of cuisines ranging from local cuisine to international cuisine. We had a great fun in our holidays at Ayia Napa.

Holidays at Cyprus

Last year I went to Cyprus to spend my vacations along with my three friends. We decided to go to Cyprus after searching for the various holiday destinations on net. It is a really lovely place. We had our stay at the larnaca resort of Cyprus. It was a wonderful holiday resort. There were so many sites that we visited there. Many of them belonged to ancient times. We also visited the stavrovouni monastery of Cyprus. It was very good. In fact it is the oldest monastery of Cyprus. But it is a notable fact that females are not allowed in this monastery. We also had a great fun at the three beaches of larnaca. These beaches are really beautiful and the water is crystal clear.

We had a great fun enjoying our dive in the sea. Since all of us had got the padi certificates so we arranged for a dive to the zenobia. It is a very famous shipwreck. It was marvelous and really very beautiful. We enjoyed our dive a lot. We also enjoyed a sun bath at these beach resorts. The people here are very friendly. We also had a great shopping. Things are cheaper here in comparison to UK. I purchased lots of gifts for my family and friends. My holidays to the Cyprus Island were really very enjoyable. And I will definitely come the next time I get the opportunity. But next time I will explore some other resort of Cyprus.

We decided to visit this place after searching for various holiday destinations across the world and taking in consideration the easiness of reaching these destinations. We also enjoyed shopping here. The markets are really very good. There were many things which were cheaper than UK. We bought four bottles of olive oil as this is of high quality in Cyprus and it is very cheap here. In short Cyprus is a great holiday destination and well within the reach of UK residents.

Activities to enjoy in Cyprus

Cyprus is an island that is full of activities to enjoy during holidays. This island offers so many things to the tourists that it becomes difficult for them you find out the best activity. Here are some of the activities that we enjoyed at this island during our visit. We visited different historical as well as archeological sites. We visited the tomb of the kings. It is really beautiful. We visited many churches of Cyprus. The architect of these churches was very beautiful some of these belonged to Byzantine times. We visited kourion which is an ancient city that was built in 1100. We also visited the famous church named agia paraskevi church which belongs to Byzantine times and has five tombs.

It was really very beautiful. We also visited the different museums and monasteries of Cyprus. All the sites of Cyprus are so beautiful as well as informative. Apart from these sites there were several other activities that we enjoyed at Cyprus. We used to wake up early in the morning and had our nature walk. This place looks even more beautiful in the morning. We also enjoyed diving and other different kinds of water sports at the beaches of Cyprus. Hiking was also a good experience. We also enjoyed playing golf in the golf courses of Cyprus. We also enjoyed shopping in the different markets of Cyprus. There are as many things as you want available in these markets and you can get them at attractive discounts as lot of bargaining takes place here.

Cyprus is very interesting place. It has been a popular holiday destination for various people across the world. This island provides so many things to the tourists that it becomes difficult for them to make a choice. We visited this place during last year. There are so many attractions of this island. We visited different historical and archeological sites of Cyprus. We visited different paphos mosaics of Cyprus. These included the houses of famous Theseus, aion, Dionysus etc. we were thrilled to visit the kourion city that is an ancient city of Cyprus. The architecture of this city was very beautiful and provided valuable information about the past.

There are many churches in Cyprus that belong to the Byzantine times. The most famous church that we visited was the agia paraskevi church that is situated in paphos. This church has five tombs. Churches in Troodos Mountains were also very beautiful. These mountains are also an attraction of Cyprus. The most famous church on these mountains is agios nikolastis stegis. We also visited the different monasteries and the museums of Cyprus. All of these places attract innumerable tourists to Cyprus every year. There are four golf courses in Cyprus. These also attract golf loving people to Cyprus. There is one paphos mediaeval fort in Cyprus. Opera is held every year in this fort during summer season. The beaches and the markets of Cyprus are also very attractive. The beaches are very beautiful and there are many kinds of sports activities that we enjoyed at the beaches. The market is also very good and offers quality goods at reasonable prices.
